EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS

 

Terry Moberley has been working with computers for over 22 years, including over 17 years of Windows network administration.

 

Currently Terry is employed by Unisys Corporation, a major international technology provider.  Because of his extensive windows experience, he was hired to be the Windows expert to serve at a local client's facility.  He is able to do private consulting work on evenings and weekends.

 

Before Unisys, he was employed by Miller Brothers, Inc., a large commercial builder headquartered in Marshall, VA, where he served as their Senior Network/ Systems Engineer.  There he developed and maintained a Windows 2000 domain which included Timberline, Exchange and Citrix implementations. 

 

Prior to Miller Brothers, Inc. he was employed full time with Halifax Corporation, a national information technology contracting firm.  Moberley served Halifax's largest client in the state, VDOT (Virginia Department of Transportation).  He was in charge of maintaining over 500 computers, including servers, desktops and laptops networked together throughout 9 counties in the Culpeper District and the Charlottesville Research Council.  His services to VDOT included troubleshooting, repair, configuration, networking, installations and upgrades.

 

Before working for Halifax, Moberley taught several subjects at the Computer Learning Center in Manassas, Virginia including networking, hardware, software, operating systems, troubleshooting and repair.

 

Moberley is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Security, a Comptia A+ Certified Technician, which certifies proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of hardware, operating systems and networks, an HP Certified Professional and a Compaq Accredited Platform Specialist in Desktops, Laptops/Notebooks and Workstations.
